Jacob and Sidney's wedding in Washington was Western Chic, reflecting Sidney's personality down to her dog-themed socks. In the small community of Dayton, a thoughtful neighbor added a unique touch by escorting guests to the ceremony site via a donkey-drawn carriage, seamlessly complementing their venue choice. Every moment of their love-filled summer day was unforgettable, with the warmth extending between the couple and radiating from their families and friends who showered them with love. By the end of the evening, I felt a deep connection, as if I had known them my whole life.
THE DUNN’S WASHINGTON WEDDING AT A FAMILY HOME IN DAYTON
Sidney, a Dayton native, and Jacob, from Waitsburg, grew up in neighboring small towns near Walla Walla. After briefly dating in middle school, they went their separate ways only to reunite at WSU during college, and the rest is history.
When it came to their wedding, the couple carefully considered their options. Despite contemplating a destination elopement in Hawaii, they prioritized family and opted for the Andrews' property in Dayton for their wedding in Washington. This setting holds special significance for Sidney, as it's where she grew up and continues to spend much of her time.
Sidney's family owns Graycyn Farms, an Arabian Horse Farm in Dayton. For their reception, Jacob and Sidney's dad transformed one of the outdoor arenas into a stunning venue. Complete with a dance floor, tent, and a balcony for the DJ right by the stable and indoor training arena. The setup was functional and charming. Sidney's younger brother served as the officiant, and the ceremony was incredibly emotional, bringing tears to his eyes. The entire celebration was beautiful. Jacob even crafted the wedding hashtag #getherdunn.
