Jayme and Joel are such a fun couple. For their engagement photos, they wanted a memorable and photogenic spot. When she saw that I was voted Tri-Cities Best, she fell in love with my photography style. When Jayme shared her vision, she initially wanted to stay in the Tri-Cities, but I knew we had to head to Walla Walla to bring it to life. I'm so happy they trusted me and were up for the adventure. The charming streets, historic buildings, and vibrant atmosphere made it the perfect setting for their downtown engagement photos.
You're probably wondering, "What exactly was Jayme's vision?" She wanted an “old money meets elegant and classy modern” vibe for this session. She envisioned a classy look with her black dress and then switched to a white dress to have some fun with her veil and bride sunglasses, ending with a champagne bottle pop. We totally brought her Pinterest board inspiration to life with this session. She even said, "It's like my Pinterest board, but it's me!"
Capturing Downtown Magic: Jayme and Joel's Vibrant Walla Walla Engagement Photos
It was a warm spring day, perfect for capturing those hazy, warm tones in the photos. Downtown was busy, but Jayme and Joel didn't let that stop the fun, and we created some real magic together. It was awesome watching them enjoy the experience and have a great time. Jayme and I were obsessing over the previews on the camera while Joel kept a big smile on his face, ready for anything we wanted to try. He was such a trooper, and you could feel their love. Meeting them and becoming friends on social media, their relationship reminds me of that T.S. song "So High School"—just a fun, exciting love that they can't get enough of.
