There’s something especially sweet about watching a senior’s vision come to life over the course of an entire year. When it comes to senior pictures in Tri-Cities, WA, my favorite sessions are the ones that are filled with meaningful locations, thoughtful details, and plenty of room for a senior’s personality to shine. That’s exactly what Madisen’s senior rep experience was all about.
I first connected with Madisen during her junior year after she found my work on Instagram. “When looking through your Instagram profile, I loved your photography style, and I’m excited to represent!!!” From our very first conversation, I knew she would be such a fun addition to the Class of 2026 Senior Rep Team.
From that moment on, we began planning a senior year full of beautiful memories, meaningful photographs, and plenty of opportunities for her to celebrate every part of who she was.
Three Sessions That Told Her Story
One of the things I loved most about working with Madisen was how intentional she was throughout every session. Whether it was a special outfit, a meaningful prop, or a location connected to an important season of life, every detail had a purpose. Those little touches transformed each gallery from a collection of beautiful images into a visual story of her senior year. When I asked what her dream senior session would look like, her answer made me smile immediately: “I’d love to take pictures with wild/sunflowers flowers and lots of cheer pics!!” And that is exactly what we created.
Senior Pictures in Tri-Cities, WA, at Haven Flower Farm
Her first session took place at Haven Flower Farm, where rows of florals and soft golden light created the dreamiest backdrop imaginable. Watching her walk through the flowers in flowing dresses felt like stepping into a summer storybook. The colors, textures, and natural beauty of the farm complemented her cheerful personality perfectly. These images captured a softer side of Madisen—carefree, joyful, and completely herself.
Cheer Photos at Her High School Football Field
For her second session, we focused on another huge part of her high school experience: cheerleading. We met at her high school football field, a place filled with years of memories, Friday night lights, school spirit, and countless hours of dedication. From portraits in her uniform to photos with her poms, this session celebrated the activity that played such a significant role throughout her high school years. There was something special about documenting her confidence and excitement in a place that represented so much hard work and growth.
Cap & Gown Photos at WSU Demonstration Garden
To close out her experience, we celebrated one of the biggest milestones of all: graduation. For her cap and gown session, we met at the WSU Demonstration Garden, where winding paths, flowers, and greenery created the perfect setting for this exciting new chapter. Dressed in her cap and gown representing the Class of 2026, Madisen reflected on everything she had accomplished while looking ahead toward the future. And what an exciting future it is.

Looking Ahead to EWU
After graduation, Madisen officially committed to Eastern Washington University, where she will be pursuing a nursing degree. Seeing her college pride come to life during this session was such a full-circle moment. From dreaming about senior photos as a junior to celebrating graduation and college plans, it was incredible to witness just how much she had grown.
“All of my sessions were such a great experience and so much fun to do. I loved that I could be myself and bring props that were meaningful to me. The shoots were relaxed and enjoyable, and I absolutely loved how the pictures turned out!”
This is what I hope every senior experiences during their time in front of my camera. Your senior year only happens once. It deserves more than a rushed photo session or images that look like everyone else's. It deserves photographs that feel like your passions, accomplishments, personality, and the people and places that helped shape your story.
Having Madisen as a Class of 2026 Senior Rep was truly such a gift. She is kind, bubbly, adventurous, and always willing to trust the creative process. Whether we were wandering through flower fields, celebrating on the football field, or documenting her graduation milestones, she brought so much joy to every session.
As she begins this next chapter at EWU, I couldn't be more excited to see where life takes her. I know she is going to accomplish incredible things, and I'll forever be cheering her on. Madisen, thank you for letting me be part of your senior year story. What an honor it has been.
