Ami, an SNP Class of 2024 Senior Rep, had a shoot that perfectly showcased her country side. She traveled to Pasco this spring, and we spent the evening enjoying the warm, summer-like air at a wonderfully vintage, rustic location. I suggested a Western rock and roll aesthetic inspired by country singers Lainey Wilson and Megan Moroney when we brainstormed this session. Ami caught my drift and nailed it, adding her own unique spin to her Western-style senior pictures.
I love that senior sessions capture each student's interests and personality. The excitement they bring to their sessions is always so much fun. My absolute favorite part is showing them a few photos on the back of the camera—it always hypes them up and gives them that confidence boost to rock their session and truly capture who they are.

Creating Authenticity: Ami's Western Style Senior Pictures
Ami brought two outfits for her session: the first, a dressier option, and the second, a more "true to life" choice. I always encourage my seniors to wear what makes them comfortable, but it's also exciting when they find an outfit that truly represents them, even if it's not what they wear daily. Ami really embraced this idea, and I love her for it.
In my Tri-Cities senior picture location guide, Ami did a session at Blue Mountain Lavender Farm, where she added western-style touches, like her boots. In the Walla Walla guide, she also used a location that could be very country-inspired: The Frenchtown Historic Site.
