When Lexi mentioned she was hoping for some desert vibes for her maternity photos, Twin Sisters Rock immediately came to mind. I showed her a few pictures of the location, and she was instantly sold. It was the perfect choice for their session. What made it even more meaningful was that they love hiking together. They even hiked for their wedding photos, so being out at Twin Sisters allowed them to reminisce on those memories without too much of a strenuous hike. With a glowing smile, Alexis wore a white bralette and jeans, while Ernest kept it simple and classy in a white tee and jeans. The outfits were a great call, keeping the focus on the bump and the backdrop.
Lexi is a sheriff's deputy here in Tri-Cities (what a badass!?). In late 2023, I received an inquiry for a maternity session from another (now) client of mine who is also a sheriff's deputy. She then referred another deputy friend of hers who was also expecting a baby to me and then Lexi as well. They are all due about two months apart: February, April, and the end of May. We joked that there must have been something in the water there at the station.

Capturing Love in Bloom | Spring Desert Maternity Photos at Twin Sisters
Twin Sisters is stunning all year, but spring brings it to life with little white and yellow wildflowers. Alexis's light pink bouquet looked perfect against the backdrop of the Columbia River. We lucked out with the weather, too—just a slight breeze to add a bit of flair to her hair, warm and overcast, making it the perfect day for a session. You could feel the love between them and their sweet baby girl; they kept things playful and fun, joking with each other the whole time. Laid-back sessions like this always capture the best, most genuine emotions.
