Bailey and I have been best friends since our teenage years, inseparable through high school and beyond as our friendship blossomed into adulthood. When I was pregnant with my first baby, Bailey, who had started dabbling in photography, took my maternity photos. So, when we found out she was expecting her first baby, it felt only fitting that I return the favor and capture her intimate lifestyle maternity photos. It was a warm August day in Montana—can't get much better than that.
A Dreamy Homestead-Inspired Maternity Shoot in Montana
Bailey met her husband and moved to Montana, where they started a life together. She dreamed of having her maternity photos showcase everything they had built together, truly homestead-inspired. So, I packed up my family and headed over to Three Forks to document all the special moments. We took photos with their farm animals, and there was a gorgeous open view in the backdrop with the sun setting in pinks and purples. Of course, I couldn’t drive all that way without spending some quality time with her. It was honestly a dream shoot.
Capturing the Keller's Laid-Back Lifestyle Maternity Photos
Bailey and Chris wanted a laid-back, true-to-life maternity shoot because that’s exactly who they are as a couple. Goats, chickens, kittens, and pups were the show's stars, perfectly capturing "The Kellers" vibe. They decided not to find out the gender of their baby before birth, so they created a gender-neutral nursery for the baby's arrival. Bailey, true to her cowgirl roots and vintage style, found an old-school potty chair at an antique shop, which she repurposed perfectly for the nursery. I believe we truly captured Bailey's vintage spirit in these photos.
